Abstract

The CPSU Central Committee and the USSR Council of Ministers have studied measures to further improve the training of skilled workers in institutions of the vocational-technical education system. The resolution adopted on this question notes that the Soviet Union now has an extensive network of vocational-technical educational institutions for training skilled workers and a fund of instructors, teachers, and experts in production training. Each year the national economy receives over a million young workers, many of whom become production leaders and innovators.
