Measurements of the second virial coefficients of some new chlorofluorocarbons and of their mixtures at temperatures in the range from 230 K to 300 K

Abstract

We present measurements of second virial coefficients of the chlorofluorocarbons R114, R123, R142b, R152a, and of their mixtures with R22, in the temperature range from 300 K down to their normal boiling temperatures. In order to clarify some discrepancies with high-temperature values from the literature we discuss our results on the bases of the theorem of corresponding states and of the Stockmayer potential.
