Abstract
Measurements of proton total reaction cross sections have been made for the deformed nuclei 24Mg, 64,66,68Zn and 140Ce in the energy range 17.5 to 48 MeV using an attenuation technique. The cross sections are compared with various theoretical predictions and with existing data.
