Abstract
We summarize the status of the measurement of the unitarity triangle angle γ performed by the BaBar and Belle collaborations using Dalitz plot analyses of the three-body decay of the D 0 meson from the B ± → D ( ∗ ) K ( ∗ ) ± process. Future prospects at the B factories are given.
