Abstract

The paper presents a model being disturbed by transverse surface profile machined by displacement of tool relative to the workpiece. Measuring system consisting of radial and axial tool displacement in relation to the workpiece to determine the interaction of the machining system on shaping the geometrical structure of the surface machined has been presented. The system has two analog measuring paths of relative displacements with contactless gauges and a/d data processing, and a digital measuring path of the workpiece rotation with its marker and the interface with the computer. The displacement signals have been measured and their amplitude-frequency characteristics have been presented. The filtration of tool displacements at every turn of the workpiece has been done and their synthesis with the tool profile for generating of transverse surface profile. The amplitude spectra of surfaces profiles disturbed by the tool displacements have been calculated and significant frequency components affected by the displacements have been analysed.
