Abstract

We have measured the production cross-sections of the residual radionuclides from proton-induced reactions of natCu by using a stacked-foil activation and off-line γ-ray spectrometric technique in the energy range from their respective threshold to 43MeV at the MC-50 cyclotron of the Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences. The measured results were compared with the earlier reported data as well as with the theoretical values obtained from the TENDL-2013 library based on the TALYS 1.6 code. The integral yields for thick target of the investigated radio-nuclides were calculated from the measured excitation function and the stopping power of natCu.
