Abstract
The electrical conductivity and relative dielectric permittivity of four types of soil, Athabasca Clay, bentonite, Devon Silt, and kaolinite, have been measured in the laboratory at radio frequencies from 10 MHz to 100 MHz. The results are relevant to numerical and experimental investigations of radio frequency heating for environmental remediation of contaminated soils.
