Abstract

In this paper the results obtained by the LHCb experiment in the sector of charmless charged two-body decays of b hadrons are reviewed. Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.37 fb-1 collected in 2011, LHCb measured the relative branching ratios of the $ H_b\rightarrow h^{+} h^{\prime -}$ decays (where Hb can be either a B0, B s 0, or $ \Lambda_{b}$ hadron and h (′) stands for $ \pi$ , K or p. Furthermore, using the full data sample collected in 2011, corresponding to 1.0 fb-1 of integrated luminosity, LHCb measured the direct CP asymmetries of the $ B^{0} \rightarrow K^{+}\pi^{-}$ and $ B_{s}^{0}\rightarrow \pi^{+} K^{-}$ decays.
