Abstract

In this article the full potential of mathematical preparation of bachelors of teacher education in the context of increased activity in various areas of future professional activity. It is proposed to evaluate the possibility of mathematical preparation of future teachers in the terms of the decision of professional tasks in science and education. For this purpose, study was conducted, during which studied the opinion of practicing teachers of secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums of Rostov-on-Don for their attitude to the possibilities of mathematical education in the formation of readiness for innovation and research. As research methods were selected: 1) empirical methods: observation of the work of teachers, self-esteem; 2) psychodiagnostic methods: discussion, questioning; 3) mathematical methods: statistical methods of data processing. Method of survey was selected as the main. In total 176 respondents were interviewed. Survey data allowed the authors to conclude that the vast majority of teachers consider that it is necessary to have a certain mathematical preparation for professional activity on their profile. Based on the results of the study it was made a number of general methodological aspects of improving mathematical education of future teachers in the context of formation of readiness for the implementation of innovation and research. The value of the findings due to the fact that they are based on the practical experience of the application of mathematical apparatus in professional activities.
