Abstract

Nowadays, with the extensive development and utilization of coastal engineering, the research on the flow field around pile groups is becoming more important. In this paper, the flow velocity and water level distribution around tandem cylindrical and rectangular piles are calculated and studied by the numerical simulation method based on delft3D. The results show that the water level of the piles in the front row of the tandem pile group increases greatly, and the influence of the rear row of the piles is small due to the shielding effect.
