Abstract

For the targeted adjustment of parameters of gaseous plasma used for treatment of surfaces polluted with various pathogenic microorganisms, mathematical modelling of the process of an unsteady heat transfer in a plate (flat substrate) under the action of an external heat source is carried out. The effect of gaseous plasma on microorganisms located on the steel plates was experimentally studied with the purpose of sterilization of the surface. In this case, the biophysical effect of plasma combines the action of three phenomena on microorganisms: active ions, electric field and ultraviolet irradiation.
