Abstract

The main tasks are to build a mathematical model of a centrifugal supercharger in the MATLAB program using Simulink; building graphs of dynamic and static characteristics; tracking the position of the working point on the graphs; control of rotational speed of the centrifugal supercharger to obtain the necessary values of flow and compression. The article discusses various methods of simulating a centrifugal compressor, describes and chooses the basic mathematical model according to the method of Moore and Greitzer, as it satisfies all the requirements of the project. Particular attention is paid to the construction of graphs of static and dynamic characteristics, in order to understand how the compressor behaves in the system. Due to this, it became possible to develop a regulator for the implementation of frequency regulation by the compressor.
