Abstract

The performance indicators of the functioning multiservice communication networks, built in accordance with the architectural concept of NGN (Next Generation Network) and FN (Future Network) based on SDN (Software Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) technologies in the provision multimedia services, have been analyzed and investigated. The performance multiservice communication networks using SDN and NFV technologies and reliability indicators were chosen as a criterion for the efficiency of the system functioning. As a result of the study, a mathematical model of the efficiency functioning multiservice communication networks was proposed, taking into account the nature of the transmitted useful and service traffic and the presence of a variety physical resources, based on which their probabilistic and temporal characteristics were analyzed in the provision multimedia services. This paper discusses the problems optimizing the efficiency of the functioning multiservice communication networks based on SDN and NFV technologies. On the basis scientific research, it has been established that optimization of the efficiency functioning multiservice communication networks is an important tool that provides a significant increase in the performance hardware and software systems, the reliability and economic efficiency of the functioning system as a whole. Analytical expressions are obtained on the basis model for evaluating the performance characteristics of the functioning multiservice communication networks as indicators throughput and reliability hardware and software systems in the provision multimedia services
