Abstract
The development of the fetal autonomous nervous system (ANS) can be investigated by heart rate variability (HRV) measured by biomagnetic sensors. We recently showed that fetal HRV is altered after a glucose load in mothers with gestational diabetes. However the effect of maternal metabolism and weight development of the mother on fetal HRV is largely unknown.
