Materials for e-bike and end to end design aspects

Abstract

This paper aim to present the idea of converting a petrol bike into an e-Bike and use it in today’s existence of human life. The survival of a common man mainly depends on his earnings, for which travelling has become vital. Also, in order to sustain in this fast-forward world, he must travel from place to place. The increase in fossil fuel cost has driven the mind to think in a different way, by which this proposal has come. An economical, easy and fast travelling mode should be made available for the common man. It is needed to find an alternative choice which could replace the fast-depleting resources of petrol and diesel. Captivating these factors, this proposal of converting a normal petrol bike into an e-Bike has arrived. A battery which drives the Electric bike, provides required voltage to the motor. This paper focus on describing the power calculations and design aspects of the proposed Electric Bike. The main source of fuel for this bike will be electricity. Therefore, Electric Motorcycle is the best alternative against the Internal Combustion (IC) vehicles.
