Abstract
The evolution of electric vehicles has been tremendous over the generations. Following the advent of an oil crisis in the 1970 s, as well as the ecological implications of greenhouse gases emitted by internal combustion engine vehicles, society began to focus on the adoption of ecologically friendly vehicles that use alternative energy sources. Electric vehicles may be the best fit for the problems at hand among all effective options. Because batteries are so crucial in the electric vehicle industry, this overview article concentrates on the evolutions and problems of cutting-edge battery technologies, cutting-edge battery management systems for hybrid and pure EVs. The purpose is to highlight the key features, benefits and drawbacks, new technology advancements, potential problems, and prospects for expanding electric mobility. Substantial investigation on innovative materials at the cell level is thus required for the continuing advancement of batteries in tandem with meeting these objectives. This review research also looked at the progress of batteries in electric vehicles. Materials being used rechargeable batteries, battery attributes, battery pack layout, cell structure, and the issue of longevity were all examined.
