Abstract

SUMMARY A study of some African Scydmaenidae (Coleoptera) collected in Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya is presented. Six species, new to science, are described: Euconnus bremeri, E. rossii, E. bordonii, E. autem, E. uncus, E. obstipus; a new subspecies is also described: Scydmaenus pseudotschadensis lagoena.
