Abstract
Master program “ Health, Human, Rights and Ethics” has been developed at Andrija Stampar School of Public health, Medical School, University of Zagreb within the framework of the Stability Pact for South East Europe with the help of the Council of Europe , support of World Health Organisation and SEE Public Health Network . This project has been financed by the Council of Europe Bank of Development and it is a part of the loan which except for the reconstruction of Andrija Stampar School of Public Health aims at curriculum development. The program is a part of the curriculum development effort. The master program will be a two- year, part- time program, in concordance with the European Credit Transfer System. It will consist of 17 modules, and it will offer a variety of subjects with a special emphasis on issues relevant for the countries in transition. The programme is now undergoing academic accreditation at Medical School, University of Zagreb. This paper examines the reason for creation of this master program curriculum and gives an overview of its structure. An emphasis will be placed on the special traits of the “ Health, Human, Rights and Ethics” master program within the framework of ethics education in general.
