Abstract
Commercially available high activity tritiated steroids are proposed as possible internal standards for the assay by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry of steroids in biological fluids. As an example a sketch of a procedure for the determination of testosterone in plasma using tritiated testosterone as an internal standard is given.
