Abstract

The article analyses the mass consciousness of Russian society in 1613–1676 – the period of the reign of Mikhail Fyodorovich and Alexei Mikhailovich. The methodological basis of the study was the differentiation-integration theory of development, the model of the functional system of the psyche, social constructionism, psychological-historical and intellectual-historical orientation. The content and features of the formation and functioning of the mass consciousness of Russian society during the period under review are described – historical and state prerequisites, legal, socio-political, religious, economic and cultural components.
