Abstract

The article analyses the specifi cs of masks making and design in the traditional Korean theater of Hahoe masks, considered in the context of the present. The specifi city of the integration of Hahoe mask dance theater as a phenomenon of traditional arts and crafts into the space of perception of modern spectators is determined. The article contains an overview of the features of art design and the perception of masks by the modern spectators due to these features.
