Abstract

Dr. Mary Ambler was a native of Massachusetts; she graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, MA. After high school, she attended Boston University School of Nursing. With the goal of improving relations between nurses and physicians, she decided to pursue an MD degree at Boston University School of Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude. After her internship year at Boston City Hospital, she completed a year of internal medicine residency at the Boston VA Medical Center. She then pursued residency training in neurology and neuropathology at the New England Medical Center, Boston City Hospital, and Rhode Island Hospital.
