Abstract

SynopsisThe rising rates for marriage breakdown, and the increasing need to provide assistance in the form of marital therapy, raise the question whether our remedial services may need to be matched with equivalent preventive services. In recent years the advent of marriage enrichment offers some promising guidelines for such services. The author, who has been involved in both fields over a number of years, discusses the present situation and future possibilities.
