Abstract

Publisher Summary Conjugate Fourier series, despite their intrinsic interest and many applications, are for many analysts a little mysterious. The chapter presents notation, such as ℕ denotes the positive integer. ℤ + the nonnegative integers; ℤ the integers; Q the rational numbers; ℝ the real number: Q: the complex numbers. The chapter briefly explains Marcel Riesz's original theorem.
