Abstract

The continuous integral representation of the complete, many-body propagators of a self-coupled spinor field is deduced and investigated. The continuous integrals are calculated by means ofEdwards—Lieb’s non-perturbative approximation method. In first approximation, the physical one-body propagator agrees with the propagator of a free, dressed particle and the physical two-body propagator corresponds to the one obtained in the “closed-loop chain” approximation ofAbrikosov et al.
