Abstract
The technique of synthesis of monolithic samples of zirconium and hafnium nitrides by oxidative construction of thin-walled ceramics is described; the X-ray phase investigation into the obtained material is presented. It is shown that the phase composition of the surface is inhomogeneous along the length of the sample, where regions characterized by an individual and particular set of phase states can be distinguished.
