Abstract
RATIONALE: Both exercise and inhaled mannitol are indirect stimuli for bronchial constriction. This study aimed to verify whether responsiveness to inhaled mannitol and the refractoriness to repeated mannitol challenges can reflect the exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) and the refractoriness to repeated exercise challenges.
