Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the management of Islamic boarding school business units based on ecoprotection, a case study at the Wali Songo Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School. The data collection method in this research uses interviews, direct observation and documentation. Ecoprotection-based business unit management as an effort to increase assets to realize economic independence. Management at Islamic boarding schools is a management program using bottom-up, namely the implementation of activities based on community initiative and inspiration. With the Bottom-Up theory in Islamic boarding schools, economic management at the Wali Songo Islamic Boarding School is starting to be realized in the practice of managing its business units, so that the daily needs of the students and the entire boarding school community can be met by all the business units owned, so that the Islamic boarding school's economic independence can be realized.
