Abstract

Management of educational facilities and infrastructure is the management of facilities used for the implementation of educational activities and supporting activities. Facilities and infrastructure cannot be ignored in the educational process. The success of learning in schools is supported by the effective and efficient use of all educational facilities and infrastructure in schools. This study aims to describe and determine the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of graduates in the industrial electronics department at Vocational High School 3 Bondowoso. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research, the data collection process uses observation, interviews and documentation, the validity of the data using source triangulation, and data analysis techniques using an interactive analysis model with a vertical type reduction process, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results show that the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of graduates in the industrial electronics engineering department at Vocational High School 3 Bondowoso can be implemented, this can be proven by the process of management of facilities and infrastructure, namely the planning, procurement, inventory, maintenance, and elimination processes. However, the standard of infrastructure for Vocational High Schools has not been implemented properly, because in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 40 of 2008 that the practical room for the industrial electronics engineering expertise program which should consist of five rooms, at Vocational High School 3 Bondowoso is still there are three rooms. Improving the quality of graduates in the industrial electronics engineering department at Vocational High School Negeri 3 Bondowoso, through several activities related to the realm of knowledge (cognitive), the realm of attitude (affective), and the realm of skills (psychomotor).
