Abstract
Introduction: Dentofacial deformity means deviations from normal facial proportions anddental relationships that are severe enough to be hand cappingAim of the study : The aim of this study was to disclose abnormal findings in a series ofpatients with dentofacial deformities with different etiology and different methods of management .Subjets and methods: At the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery faculty of oraland dental medicine south valley university from january2015 to December 2017 all the patientspresented with dentofacial deformity was investigated ,diagnosed and managed all the datacollected and analyzed and presented through this study the results 12 patients 8 females and4 males presented with dentofacial deformities of variable causes were managed by different meansranged from functionsl appliances to maxillary osteotomies the conclusion dentofacial deformityhas different etiologic factors and treatment must be adapted to the case limits
