Man in Language and Culture (Based on the Results of the Work of the I International Conference "The Language of Culture and the Culture of Language")

Abstract

The I International Conference "The Language of Culture and the Culture of Language" demonstrates the genuine interest of modern researchers in the problems of the relationship and interaction of language and culture. On the one hand, language preserves the traditional cultural values of the ethnos, and on the other hand, the reflection of the realities of everyday life. Language is a universal mechanism for the accumulation and representation of cultural memory, as a dynamically developing system that actively implements its functional capabilities in various genres of speech communication, in various discursive practices of modern society. The resolution following the results of the conference notes its importance both for the preservation of national languages in the modern world and for the development of the speech culture of students and schoolchildren. The results of scientific research presented at the conference by its participants are recommended for implementation in the educational process by Russian universities and universities of the countries participating in the conference.
