Abstract
This article collects three types of malignant bone tumors. Of these, the most frequent is the chondrosarcoma that accounts up to 25% of the malignant bone tumors. The other two are quite rare. The prognosis is strictly related to the lesion’s grading, as the grade 1 of the chondrosarcoma allows a 5-years survival up to 90%. Interestingly, these tumors can develop on previous lesions: encondroma and osteocondroma can represent a primary lesion for the development of chondrosarcoma; Paget disease or radiation therapy can be causes for the development of fibrosarcoma or undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma.
