Abstract
Some male sterile plants were found in seed fields of cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and white cabbage. In all 3 crops the male sterile flowers were characterized by shorter stamens and shrivelled anthers. Male sterility did not seem to be greatly influenced by the environment.
