Making teachers training modules for cultural diversity consideration in lesson plan

Abstract

이 논문의 목적은 학습자의 문화적 다양성을 적절히 고려하여 학교 교과 수업을 설계•실행할 수 있는 교사 연수 모듈을 개발하여 제시함으로써 교실에서 교사가 모든 학습자의 학습 효과를 최대로 살릴 수 있는 수업 실천 역량을 증진하도록 돕는 데 있다. 목적 달성을 위한 연구의 내용으로 먼저 교사 연수 모듈 개발을 위한 논의로서, 수업 설계에서 문화적 다양성 고려, 수업 설계에서 문화적 다양성 고려의 필요성, 수업 설계에서 문화적 다양성 고려의 의미, 수업 설계에서 문화적 다양성 고려를 위한 교사 교육의 방향 등이 제시하였다. 둘째로, ‘자기 성찰의 관점에서’문화적 다양성을 반영하며 수업 설계에서 중요한 고 려 요인이라고 할 수 있는 교사 자신, 학습자, 교육과정•교과서, 교육 환경 등을 중심으로 교사 연수를 위한 모듈을 개발하여 제시하였다. 끝으로, 교실에서 교사가 ‘문화적 다양성을 고려한 수업’을 설계• 실행하기 위한 방향으로 수업 설계 요인별 특징을 파악하기, 기본 원리 정하기, 교수 전략 유형 탐색하기, 효과적인 교실 경영 방법 찾기 등이 제시되었다.Making teacher training modules for cultural diversity consideration in lesson plan have been studied in this paper. Purpose of this study is to help teachers in culturally diverse classrooms foster skill of lesson plan and maximize learning potential of all learners. In order to achieve purpose of this study, firstly, implications of cultural diversity consideration in lesson plan and needs of teacher training for them were proposed. Secondly, teachers, learners, curriculum, educational environment as elements of cultural diversity consideration in lesson plan were reviewed. Thirdly, teacher training modules for cultural diversity consideration in lesson plan were made in the viewpoint of self reflection, reflective thinking, problem solving. Fourthly, direction of lesson planning with cultural diversity consideration in classrooms was presented. Cultural diversity consideration in lesson planning can mean reflection for learners as existence of cultural life, all learners, minority learners, and learner’s learning styles. How to train for teachers to make lesson planning in the viewpoint of cultural diversity? To respond this question, basically, it’s important to put cultural diversity education into curriculum of teachers training programs.
