Abstract
ABSTRACTIn recent years, makerspace has been introduced as a new library service concept. This study first examines the makerspace activities in Chinese university libraries, after which the important role of makerspace in educational development is discussed and the construction of makerspace in Chinese university libraries is analyzed. Suggestions are then given regarding the construction of Chinese library makerspaces. This research aims to provide information and guidance on the use of makerspaces to librarians and teachers and encourages the establishment of makerspaces in university libraries.
