Abstract
We present magnetoresistance ( MR) measurements of the non-Fermi liquid system UCu 4Pd. At low temperatures the MR is small and negative. In the temperature range from 2 to 30 K we observe a linear dependence of the MR on B 2 , i.e., Δ ρ / ρ 0 = α B 2 . The temperature dependence of α scales with χ , indicating spin disorder scattering as the source for the MR. We discuss the implications of the temperature dependence of the magnetoresistive behavior.
