Abstract
The oscillations caused by optical interband electron transitions at the point L of the Brillouin zone of bismuth are studied in the temperature range of 77–280 K and magnetic fields up to B=22 T. It is shown that the method of simulation of the experimental line shape allows one not only to refine the band parameters of the material, but also to obtain detailed information about physical reasons for the specific features observed in the experimental magneto-optical spectra.
