Abstract
Selected issues of mutual influence of the energetic ions and collective phenomena in toroidal plasmas are considered. This includes peculiarities of energetic-ion-driven Alfvén instabilities in stellarators, fishbone instability and magnetohydrodynamic activity during tangential neutral beam injection in tokamaks and spherical tori with the shearless core.
