Abstract

This work focuses on the laser-plasma interaction where skew-cosh-Gaussian (skew-chG) laser can create wakefield when it propagates in the plasma under the condition that its pulse length matches with the plasma wavelength. With the application of an external magnetic field we can generate the transverse component of the wakefield, which is responsible for the generation of the THz radiation. The skewness index and order of the laser are optimized for the efficient generation of THz radiation and a control on the focus of emitted radiation.
