Abstract

The Co-based composition cast amorphous glass-coated microwires with different magnetostriction constant were investigated. Microwires were produced from these alloys using the Ulitovsky–Taylor method. We explain the experimental data in the frame of the thermodynamical approach using the arguments of the existence of the transversal or bamboo domain structures.
