Abstract

The variation of Aharonov-Bohm oscillation periodicity and persistent magnetoconductivity have been observed in an array of AlGaAs/GaAs rings with a diameter of 0.3 μm. Magnetic field tuned impurity levels were suggested to be responsible for this behavior. This effect can be a result of the local electron density variation due to the influence of the weak magnetic field on the interference effect in mesoscopic samples.
