Abstract
Magnetic field dependence of the magnetic length for localized electrons in Quantum Hall Effect (QHE) systems is calculated. It is found that in the localization region the magnetic length becomes inversely propotional to the magnetic field. Therefore in the localization region the shrinkage of the cyclotron radius becomes faster compared to the delocalized region where we have the conventional magnetic length which is inversely proportional to the square root of the magnetic field.
