Abstract
This paper describes magnetic field and stress analysis for a ferromagnetic material HT-9 (12Cr-1Mo). The method of numerical analysis considers non-linear relation between magnetic induction B and magnetic field H by using an incremental method. The numerical method developed here was applied to evaluate magnetic field and stress of a ferromagnetic beam-plate. Numerical results agreed well with experimental ones. The method was also applied to a ferromagnetic fusion first wall to evaluate induced magnetic field disturbance and magnetic stress.
