Abstract

Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) of X-ray spectroscopy (X-ray absorption, X-ray emission, and X-ray photoemission) for spinel-type ferrites in hard X-ray region were performed to investigate the electronic and magnetic states under resonant conditions. Higher-energy resolution provides an enhancement of MCD at the pre-edge in X-ray absorption and X-ray emission. On the other hand, a resonant effect in the X-ray photoemission spectroscopy is little for the MCD signals near the absorption edge while obvious dichroic signals are observed in both Fe and Co 2p core-level spectra. Thus, high-energy resolution and high precision provide fine structures and small variations for the X-ray spectra to perform delicate discussion.
