Abstract

Epilepsy is defined as a disorder of the brain characterized by an enduring predisposition to epileptic seizures. It is a heterogeneous condition characterized by multiple seizure types and syndromes, numerous etiologies, and variable prognoses. Neuroimaging plays a crucial role in the evaluation of epilepsy, with magnetic resonance imaging being the best imaging modality to diagnose epileptogenic lesions. In recent years, Machine Learning has proved to be useful in epilepsy to enhance diagnosis and treatment. Aim of this review is to describe the most recent advanced of Machine Learning in Epilepsy.
