Abstract

The smart city is a philosophy, that is established to manage the growing population, fulfil all the basic daily requirements of the citizens, maintain a green and healthy environment, manage energy consumption and help the people to adopt the modern technologies which make life easier. Smart city first designs the policy and by taking Information and Communication Technology in account it makes decisions. This paper deliberates concise analysis of the Machine Learning approaches in a smart city. This paper briefly concentrates on intelligent transport systems, smart grid, cybersecurity and healthcare system in the smart city using the applications of Machine Learning and Deep Reinforcement Learning. This paper aims to give a conclusive acquaintance of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Reinforcement Learning approaches that can perform an essential role in the formation of a smart city. Finally, the paper highlights the complex problems that occur in a smart city and solution of these problems using Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligent, Machine Learning, Deep Reinforcement Learning techniques.
