Abstract

Amorphous Fe 30 Ni 48−x Cr x Mo 2 Si 5 B 15 alloys (x=0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12) were prepared by a rapid quenching from the melt in the form of ribbons 16 to 27 μm thick and 6 mm wide. A conventional constant-acceleration Mossbauer spectrometer with a 57 Co(Rh) source was used to collect experimental data in transmission geometry
