Abstract
A picture of the distributions of geomagnetic activity levels and the number of calls to emergency medical teams by the days of the lunar synodic month is presented. The study was carried out on the basis of the Kp index data and the impersonal catalog of ambulance calls of the Petrozavodsk Emergency Medical Care Hospital in 2015-2017. During data processing, the method of superposed epochs, algorithms of clustering and trend allocation were used. High daily Kp indexes are grouped mainly near the new moon, low Kp indexes - near the full moon. The distributions of the number of emergency calls to cardiovascular, mental and nervous diseases have specific features. Possible causes of lunar geomagnetic activity effect and the peculiarities of emergency medical ambulance calls distributions are discussed.
