Abstract

AbstractThis paper gives a brief account of selenographic research at Yerkes Observatory under the direction of Dr. G. Kuiper. This involves the application of photogrammetric concepts and techniques in a context which is very different from that of aerial photogrammetry. The principal features of the programme are lunar photography, lunar cartography and the study of the lunar surface structures. Projected programmes deal more with the Moon's history and internal structure.
