Abstract

If both the transient electric conductivity increase and the luminescence induced by plastic deformati on are ascribed to the motion of dislocation there should be some similarity between the decays of current and luminescence. Curves of decays of transient current and luminescence in KCl and NaCl crystals at room temperature are shown. (W.D.M.)
